MARK MOCHON
Wilson teacher Mark Mochon began his teaching career in 1978 at Hood River Junior High. As the sole member of the Technical Education Department at Wilson, Mark has taught up to four levels of Architecture, four levels of Technical Drafting, four levels of Woods and four levels of Metals.
Reflecting on his time at Wilson, Mark would like to thank the entire Wilson community for the continued support of the Technical Education Department over the years. "Nationwide, the 'Shop' classes are scrutinized and questions are raised about their usefulness and relevancy," adds Mark. "Thank you for keeping the program alive and giving some kids a chance to excel in an area that can lead to a vocational career."
When asked about what he will miss, Mark states, " working with the students that truly have a passion for working with their minds and their hands."
